Question about BmS intake

If I put get a BMS dual cone intake for my 335i sedan, would it make the check engine light come on? or its all good!

OP, it's just an intake. Just ignore the people like the poster above. Intake is nothing and a lot of people even leave them on for dealer service (I wouldn't, but that's a personal decision).

+1, intakes are known to cause LIMP modes and dealer will void your warranty if they even SEE them in there!

no worries on the engine light...they're just intakes...but don't go to the stealership with them...

Dual cone intakes are perfectly safe, and a great mod.

I did installation yesterday.
It was very straight forward and easy. (I was installing JB3 and it seems like I took most of parts out already so I went ahead installed intake too).
It looks somewhat cheap (actually it is cheapest intake for 335i).
So I'm giving it a try and see if I like it or not.
But it does sound good!

All it is, is two KnN open cone filters

The proper intakes with hard piping cost some serious money for some reason.
