Angel eyes and daytime runners on 2007 coupes???

Hey guys have you noticed that the MY07 3 series have the angel eyes ONLY as daytime running lights option? I have seen two of them this weekend and I am wondering if this can be made available to 2006 models. It looks SICK with only the angel eyes on. Can anyone chime in on this?

Thanks

please

seeing that you have a 2006 325, I assume it's an E90. E90 angel eyes are completely different than E92 angel eyes. E92 DRL = angels, E90 DRL = inner halogen

not really, please try to its been covered several times in the canadian forum

canadian transportation ministry require (let me reiterate myself for future searches) REQUIRE a car that is built/imported into canada to have DRL's (day-time running lights). this feature CANNOT be disabled throught the OBC. like canuck said, on the e90's it is the halogen amber lookin thingy on the inner 2 lights. on the e92's, it is the actual halo ring that acts as the DRL.

you can get the e90's halogen deactivated like i did through programming at a tuner shop. cost is around $40.
