while installing the JB3...
i had the Jb2 installed in my car but decided to upgrade to the jb3. while i was removing the jb2 from the ecu the connections were taped up with electrical tape. these tapes were a PITA to remove and while i was removing one of the wires from the ecu of my car ripped! i was panicking and decided to cut the tip of my jb2 wires to use it for my car (that little silver connector at the tip of each wire) i cut it off the jb2 and twisted the copper for both wires to connect them and then reconnected it into the slot of the connector. have been driving the car like that for about 2 weeks now. could i have done something horrible? what problems can i face? if there a high chance that the dealership would notice this and do anything to my warrenty. is there anyway i can fix this?
pretty scared

I did find this from an earlier post from Eugen - I am not sure if it is exactly what you need though.
PROcede harness connectors compilation Hi guys, Sometimes you will need additional PROcede connectors / wires. I have compiled a short overview. Thanks to Orb and Terry for their support. The connectors on the PROcede side are from Deutsch ( deutschconnector.com ). They can be crimped or soldered. Socket DTMBKS 460-201-20141 Pin DTMSKS 460-202-20141 Here you can buy connector plugs as well ( bypass plugs, etc. ) The connectors on the ECU side are from BMW 61-13-0-005-201 Socket 0.2 – 0.5 mm2 ( a 0.5 mm2 wire is already crimped to the connector ) 61-13-0-005-198 Pin 0.2 – 0.5 mm2 ( a 0.5 mm2 wire is already crimped to the connector ) |

Well if they actually dig into the ECU and find this botch job of yours, they will definitely void your warranty, but right now your car will run fine...If you want to make it look 100% stock get the part number from the above post and crimp the wire back with the OEM pins and your golden!

I saw a thread before where Terry sent someone a couple pins, so if you want to re-do the connection shoot him an email as he should have some connectors lying around.
