JB3 1.21 review
I have been testing JB3 1.21 for a few days now. The difference in driving experience has been fantastic from Stock and from JB3 1.1. I have been running Map 6 and my mods are the Helene drop in filter and homemade ram scoops and the JB3 1.21, we have 93 octane in Cincinnati.
JB3 1.1 felt nearly like stock just tooting around town which was fantastic, nice and smooth when I wanted it to be, the switch to map 6 makes driving a bit more of an art so i don't give my passengers whiplash driving around town, I am at 4000 rpm in 1st gear in an instant and usually shit to 3rd so the gear change is smoother for me and my passengers, the throttle is much more responsive and sensitve to the right go pedal. Even in 3rd gear driving say 35mph I can floor it and my head snaps back, doing this in 1st or 2nd the tires light up as there is little traction on the cold roads. Driving on the highway is amazing, even in 5th and 6th gear the car pulls very nicely and can now easily move through traffic with ease given the extra pull at lower RPMs. This has been the biggest change and much appreciated. I did some hard pulls on the highway in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gear and it was great in any gear, no error codes just smooth fast acceleration. 1st and 2nd gear pulls were very quick, launching is hard but it can be done well. My mpg is dropped a bit, but I have been doing a lot of hard pulls so I have no real good sense how map 6 has effected my wallet on a daily basis but I can always return to map 0 (stock, complete passthrough) anytime and have some nice economical driving. JB3 1.22 is being tested now on some cars which as some changes for very cold weather folks I think running pre 29.2. I am really happy with the 335i, it's such a great car and one that I hope to keep for a very long time. I had a 330Ci before and it simply was too slow, even Honda Accords had more HP than me, the 335i with JB3 is everything I wanted. Tis all for now folks!

I could not be any happier (being I am running the same setup as you) but in Map 4.
