Whats Happening??

Today I was cruising down the highway around 60 mph and suddenly the rpm drops to 1k for a split second and then went back to normal. It felt like the engine choked or something. I have a manual. What could this be?

Has happened to me also a couple of times in the past weeks. No check engine lights or anything else, just cut out and came back.
