Still not working...
No luck with USB.
No luck with AUX. And I thought I saw in the manual an iPod mode on the logic 7 display which I do not have. This is hard to understand...does anybody else have another idea about getting the mp3 to play thru the logic 7??? Thanks again. |

Are you using an AUX line from the headphone jack to the AUX port?

Since the car came with the dual adapter in the center console, I connected the serial port into the bottom of the mp3 player and plugged the headphone jack from the dual adapter into the AUX port next to the USB. I also tried the USB from the same dual adapter. Shouldn't this have worked? |

I will do that.
But that way it doesn't seem like i will be able to control the mp3 from the radio/steering wheel controls. So what would be the point of ordering the ipod/USB connect option? |

You're not using an iPod - that's the reason. Either use a USB key or iPod to integrate it with your vehicle.

Any usb flash drive will do - 4gb models have been found for as low as $10 on newegg.com.
