BMW Engine Cleaner Spray?

Hope this hasn't been covered already (did a null result search), but:

Has anyone tried the BMW engine/engine compartment cleaner spray, and/or the engine protectant? Engines tend to get filthy over time, and I wanted keep that from happening as much as possible.

nothing simple green cant do and be cheaper.

Is Simple Green safe on the engine? Electronics and all?

it's been used by auto detailers and it's safe for the enivornment too

you can dilute the mixture 1:1 ration of SG and water. let soak and toothbrush it off or wipe depending on the surface.

Simple Green is the shit! Haven't had to use it on the engine bay. I only wipe it down every week with a wet MF towel. Sill looks new!
