Insurance in Philadelphia?

I'm starting to shop around for insurance quotes on my future vehicle...all of my previous vehicles were registered in NJ, so this is my first time getting an insurance policy in Pennsylvania.

I'd like to get some opinions on insurance companies in Pennsylvania with regards to quality of service provided as well as price. As far as price is concerned, I do live in the city of Philadelphia, so I'm sure I'll be taking a hit for that.

Anyway, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

State farm worked best for me (I was 25 and single at the time). Make sure to get many quotes because some were 5x to 6x more.

it really depends on where you live as some insurance offer better deals in some areas than others and how many cars/homes you have. I have multi-car and home-owners discount.

i.e. I had the lowest quote with Nationwide when I was in "Philadelphia", 19103 area.

but I am currently in Wayne, 19087, area, and the lowest quote I have is with Geico (all with same coverage).

In general, PA is gonna be a lot cheaper than NJ insurance.
