I will never buy another HP computer as long as I live. I have had two, one desk top and one laptop and both had problems that could never be fixed. On the other hand, I have had many Gateway computers and they all have worked flawlessly. I would recommend you look at the gateway laptops. Last one I bought for my daughter online at Walmart.com. It was loaded (4g RAM/160G hard drive, fast duo processor) only 799. Can't remember the model # but they change very frequently. You will need to shop around.
