Extended Warranty and Maintenance

My mother has a 2006 e90 330i which will exceed the warranty and maintanence coverage in October 2009. Has anyone priced an extended warranty and maintenance for an extra year or two through BMW- if so, could you please share the rough cost?

You will pay about $2800 for the 2 year extended warranty through a BMW dealer. It is supposed to be offered only to the original owner. I am shopping for a longer term extended warranty for my 09, say 7-8 years if anyone has a recommendation, please PM or email me. rmorin49@verizon.net. Thanks.

Doesn't sound worth the money unless you put a ton of miles on the car.

Has your car ever given you problems before? If it's been smooth sailing, I'd opt out. Unless you wanna dump around $2500 for peace of mind.

I bought 06 330xi CPO with 34300 miles on it. The dealer offered me the maintenance until 6 yr/100000 miles for $1595. I know I will put at least 15000 miles a year. So I added it on without a doubt (just a peace in mind).

You should have got that for free. Check the BMW CPO website. BMW covers the car for 6 year or 100K miles.
