Dealer to get OEM Sirius Activated?
So I installed my OEM Sirius the other day, plug and play except the fiber jumpers which is a bit of a pain to get to in a non folding rear seat car but that was finished.
So now I have to get the car coded and activated. I was at Princeton BMW picking up a part for the E46 the other day and I asked them how much, they looked at me first surprised that I installed it, then gave me a bunch of crap that its a min 3 hours so close to $300. I know that its 30 min according to the instructions although it can take longer because some cars are slow to upgrade (although my car now has the newest software when the front pass airbag sensor was replaced they had to update to the current). So I want to find a dealer who will at least not bs me. I understand it could take longer but it definitely isnt a min of 3 hours. Anyone have theirs activated before? If so what dealer?
