Getting clear bra is well worth it. I wish mine could had covered the entire hood because I found a few chips here and there on the hood. However, to cover the whole thing is probably too expensive than replacing a new hood since mine already costed me $500.
Be sure to get the cover for the headlights. I have found many evidence of impact of stone chips on the cover. I am pretty sure without those covers, my headlights would've had cracks on them.

Hello. The film is def worth every penny. BMW and Porsche believe in it so much they made it OEM for there cars. Here is a cool article as well.
http://www.automotivearticles.com/12...r_Bra_3M.shtml For the DIY I have a very detailed video on my site under installation. I do strongly recommend having a professional do the job though, as they get the edges perfect 1/8"th away. Well I guess most should. ![]() Cleaning Tips: After the film is applied make sure you put a nice coat of polish wax over the film once every couple months. I like use the Liquid Clear Wax sold in Walmart. Works really well. Also once a year clean the edges with a cloth with rubbing alcohol. If you happen to get scratches in the film, really only noticeable on Black, use rubbing alcohol to remove scratches. Hope this helps. Ryan www.autopaintguard.com |
