removing the plastics jack points?
I recently damaged the plastic jack points on my car and bought replacements. Does anyone know how to remove the plastics jack points?

Small cats paw or flat head screwdriver, pry down until the plastic clips on the inside of the jack pads break. That's how they removed mine when they strapped it down for dyno.

I ordered 4 from crownauto.com for $47.96 with shipping. I also order the jack pad adapter from ecstuning.com so I do not wreck the new ones.
oh, I will try the screwdriver method but the side trim on the car is very close to the jack point. I will most likely try to drill through the exsisting pad so that I can easily snap off the old one.

basically. I was used the wrong kind of jack and parts of the points are crushed. Learned my lesson, i will replace and never have the problem again.
I received the adapter in the mail yesterday, its very nice. Its machined from aluminum and painted black.

Mine's an e90 - maybe that's the difference? I can't imagine that these would actually be different parts for e90 v e92, maybe just the numbering system?

i replaced 2 of the 4 jack points yesterday. I uesd a drill to drill through the plastic to removed the clips. It wasnt a 30sec job as I had hoped, it took a few minutes. I will post a few pic of the old and new jack points tomorrow.
