Removing Sirius
I find Sirius to be pretty bad and I really never use it. I'm going to cancel service now that my 3 month trial is about up. I'd like to yank the module out and/or have the software modified so that it doesn't show up in the head unit anymore. I use the button on the steering wheel to cycle through inputs and I'd like to have one less input to scroll past.
If I yank the unit out, will that do it or am I going to have to go to the dealership and have the head unit software updated?

God damnit. I called BMW and they said it would be hours of labour to reflash the head unit even if I remove the module myself. F that. Why can't the head unit be smarter and just hide the icon if the module disappears...
