V1 Hardwired...now trunk won't unlock!
I just had a V1 hardwired by a local shop (i've hardwired many elec in other cars but didn't want to do it my e90) and provided them with the add-a circuit (that was recommended by many members-thanks guys) to avoid piggy-backing onto another wire.
But now i cannot open the trunk from the button in the console and it will not open from the remote either. I could open the trunk only with the key. Does anybody know what the problem could be??? Any solutions??? TIA |

Take a look at your fuse block and see what they did. They might not have put both fuses into it - the add a circuit has a place for two fuses - one for the original circuit and one for the device being added. Take the whole thing out and see if your trunk works, etc. I bet it's something simple.

Check your glove compartment for the trunk lock switch. The trunk is locked and can only be opened with the key. It's for when you valet, you take the key out of the fob and give them the fob only. This way they can't open your trunk or glove compartment.
