i may be seen as an idiot here, but I do not consider anything less than 100k as a big salary job.

Perhaps I am young and idealistic, but I could not continue my lifestyle without making 100k when I get out of school

Haha, kids like you make me laugh. Unless you know someone or work for your dad you are not going to make 100K right out of school. Doctors don't count because they go to school/residency for an ungodly long time.

Guess you are going to be very disappointed when you graduate.

The salaries on the list are big for some places and probably not for others. A person making 60K in Iowa is doing pretty well and is easily middle class.
