my 330i cd player doesn't read mp3s?
OK. I just got my brand new 330i with navigation and when I put a mp3 cd in...it will not play.
 I found out that the production date for my car was august 05, so it means that i don't have mp3 capabilities with navigation my sales guy said they have to do a software upgrade in order for my car to read mp3s! is that true? |

Whats the build date according to the door sticker on your car? Mine was built in Feb/06 and the indash plays Mp3 CDs perfectly as well as the cd changer in the trunk (I have navi too). Are you finalizing the disc when you're done burning? I don't think it will work otherwise.

I have 2/06 build, no nav, and mp3 CDs play just fine.
