Yeah, the biggest problem with the G37 is the Altima Coupe.
That being said, a buddy of mine has a brand-new, fully-loaded G37, and it will knock your socks off. But it looks an aweful lot like above mentioned $23k FWD sorority girls car. |

My take on the G37S: Close but no cigar.
I think the HP at 330 is a tad optimistic. 32 HP jump over the 298hp G35C 6mt should be showing more significantly in acceleration tests, but people are saying the G37S is barely faster. Buddy has a lightly modded G35C 6mt and I'd say it hauls pretty good from the passenger seat. |

I just this past week test drove both the g37s manual and the 135i manual. My impressions are very simple..............
The G is a very nice car but just doesnt compare. When I turned on the 135 and grabbed the wheel it was almost like you could feel the life of it. The G was no where near as exciting to drive, the G is a good all around vehicle but if your looking for a drivers car the 1 is hands down the 1! |

Since I'm buying later this year and in the market for an automatic (I know...boo) I'll be curious to see if the Jatco 7AT from the European G makes it into the 2009's. A couple more cogs may help low end pull and top gear mileage. |

Fuel economy is pretty bad with those Nissan V6's. Buddy said he gets about 15-17 mpg around town in his, which has the older "DE" engine, but I doubt they've improved it any.
