I think I spotted your car today(?) ...in one of the south-west suburbs

moO moO nEL - Don't think it was ours. Wife's not working in that area.
beauderek - No, it's Burr Walnut not piano black trim. I've also been checking out the BMW Australia website recently and can't seem to find another vehicle for sale in this (Sapphire Black with Beige Leather M sport with 18" wheels) spec. There seems to be a few Sapphire Blacks with Black leather and one with Lemon, but the beige option seems to be a bit rare ? |

Not Happy
Can't say I'm too happy at the moment.
Wife just came home tonight. Here's a list of damage whilst she's had the car so far this week (just 2 days !). Monday - broken rear window regulator (being fixed under warranty), then scraped the front undertray from a steep driveway at the dealership she took it to. Today - 1cm scuff mark on the O/S rear 18" wheel from parking, more scrapes on the front bumper from hitting a concrete bollard in front of the car whilst parking (she didn't realise the car was so low), a chipped front windscreen from a stone thrown up from a car in front of her on the freeway. I'm starting to think this car is jinxed... Anyone know a good priest who might be able to exorcise some of these demons ? Last edited by 9c1; 08-23-2006 at 03:12 PM.. |

Thanks everyone.
The car (thankfully) got through the rest of the week unscathed. Nothing ruins that new car feeling faster than the first (and hopefully last) traffic scrape right ? I've actually booked the wife into a short driving assessment course next month. It's primarily designed for company car drivers and helps them get used to driving their new cars (size wise, parking etc) in traffic and assesses their current driving skills and tries to improve them (and before you ask, the wife is fine about taking this course ! haha !). Anyway, on a different subject. I've got some left over accessories from my E46 - if anyone has a friend with an E46 (Astra ?) that wants a genuine M3 CSL Alcantara steering wheel for a reasonable price please PM me. |
