Ugh 2 days and bad bad luck..

So i've had my E90 for almost 14 months.. And throughout this entire length of time, i've never damaged my E90. She was still in pristine condition..until now.

My brother and i have lunch on Thursday. The parking lot was tiny but it was the only place to park, so i had to do it. Well, i get door dinged. Pretty bad.. I didnt know it even happen until saturday when my uncle was like "you have some scratches down the side of your passenger door". I thought he was kidding, NOPE... Then i went into a chaotic curse filled argument with myself for parking in that damn lot.

Then yesterday my other brother and i were going to the gym. I park in the garage and my dad is usually parked behind me, however, he always moves since he knows i'll be going out. Well, when i got in the car, i didnt know he was behind me, it was about 11pm, and all i saw was black ..so i backed up, RIGHT as i hit his truck i see his tail lights come on. I have a scratch and a dent right below my right tail light. Of course i was pissed as hell, and my brother had to rub it in even more. Lets just say doing my hour of cardio was a breeze cause i had some fuel to burn.  In just 2 days look what happens.. ugh. I know its nothing compared to those who've been in accidents but man ... how shitty!

I know im leaving on thursday, so atleast i dont have to stare at these dents but im hoping that dad will take care of em while im gone. ....... ha

That sucks.

Not wanting to jinx you but these things always happen in threes. May be best to keep your baby parked until Thurs.

I used to run 40 miles a week.

But I can't stand more than a couple of minutes on a machine.

Bores me to tears.

Besides, resistance training done the right way is better than long sessions of cardio. At least for men.

Once you get to New York you'll walk so much each day that you won't even need to do cardio.

thats like what happened to me. all in one day, i get hit by behind because some guy in his crapbox car from thre 80's does not know the concept of braking...and then i park in the dunkin donuts lot, and i get door dinged aswell, right on the crease too of the e90 on the body line :/ i was so pissed for 3 days then i just brought it to the body shop because i cant drive a car like that, especially this one, and just had to fix the bumper including a whole repaint and fix the dent, and repaint the whole door aswell...$600

It's incredible how careless people are in parking lots. It's a given that someday a door will be dinged if parked in non-protected spaces. Well, get the Ding Master to restore the door, and the body shop to handle the rest. It will look good as new. The good news is that you still have your health.

Just think, when you get to NYC, you will have a bigger complaint - Traffic and parking. You might even find yourself using public trans more and more

Bella,

I am sorry to hear of your unfortunate series of events... If it is any consolation, I had someone hit my car (while on the road) which sent me spinning out of control and up over a curb...

I have some small body damage to the rear of the car, some scratches on the front bumper, one damaged front wheel, one severly damaged rear wheel, and no rear suspension... My car just made it to a local BMW dealership that has a certified collision center, and will probably be there for the next 2-3 weeks.

It could be worse ...

I will have to start doing so when I am forced to park next to people.

I have heard of 3 people experiencing hit and runs in the parking lots within the past week. What is wrong with people these days???

Good thing is that two of them were able to get information on the cars that hit them, and they were charged with hit and runs on top of the damage to the cars....

I want to meet you in person. I have a feeling we have a very similar... life style.

Back to topic, sorry to hear this. look at the bright side. at least the crash wasn't major and you probably lost a lot of bodyfat(if you have any) that day.
one of my friends just crashed with her parent's car yesterday also. how big? lets just say insurance did NOT like it.

Thumbs down

I feel your pain!!

It's bound to happen to most of us, and the longer we manange to avoid it, the harder it is to take when/if it does happen.
