Having Trouble connecting Samsung E900
Hi,
I recently bought E900, having heard that there were no problems connecting this. I tried to connect it today, but after entering the pairing code on both the phone and the car, the car adds the phone to the list temporarily, but the phone says 'Unable to Connect to BMW9008'.... This happens everytime... I removed all devices and tried again....same thing happening??? Any ideas, the phone is brand new so it should be the latest software. thanks |

try a 6 digit code instead of a 4 digit.
This is the way it should work: - go into pairing mode (on your phone and in your bmw) - search on your phone for new bluetooth devices - it will find the bmw - press a 6 digit code i.e. 111111 - sent - your bmw will now ask you to connect to the SGH-E9002 - press yes - press immediately (and don't wait long with this!!!) 111111 - accept - normally it should be connected now without any problem. Afterward you have to go to the bluetooth menu in your phone again, go to the bluetooth devices witch are addes, and go to the bmw.... click on it and accept it as "trusted". From now on it should connect immediately when you start your bmw. Good luck anyway. I have a bmw 320d with I-drive and the Samsung SGH-E900. Works without any problem and great quality! |
