Guys maybe you can help me im in the process of getting a new cellphone but i want it to be compatible with my 335i E92 bluetooth system.
My preferred choices in brand are nokia, sony ericsson and motorola. Can you guys tell me what brand and model you are using and if it does work well with your BMW bluetooh system. Thank you. |

If you go to the BMWUSA website, they have a compatible phone list by brand and model. Good luck!
Heres a link http://www.bmwusa.com/owners/bluetooth/phones

I have a nokia 6600, and a razr, I bought the razr to replace the 6600(which was a smart phone) and I hated the motorola operating system! I don't think I will buy anything buy nokia again, maybe Sony err.
For you, 6680 is nice, any e series phone is nice too! Good luck, hope you find what you are looking for! |

cingular offers the nokia 9300. awesome phone. not for everyone. its a little large. no wifi, no camera. but awesome phone. you can get an unlocked 9500, even a little bigger, but has wifi and camera. other than that, i hate all other nokias. and i hateeee motorola. so i would definitly go with SE. tell me which features you wwant, and i will let you know what SE to go with. I use a w900, saving my money for a p990. i have had a p910 and a p900. both awesome phones.

I purchased my Nokia 6230i here (http://www.cellhut.com/productdetail...FQcJHgodxVkJHw)
It comes unlocked. I then took the SIM card from my Cingular Nokia 3120b and popped into the new phone. Started up the phone and everything just worked. I have used the phone in Europe and USA and its worked in a Chrysler 300c, G35, Audi A4 and friends 7 series. All I do swap SIM cards to use my phones. |

holy crap! 258 dollars for that?!?! isnt that the phone they used to give away for free with a contract, just the slightly upgraded version? i have never been to that cellhut site. seems pretty well priced. they have a phone i really want on there, and they are currently matched for the cheapest place i have found it. so thats good.

If you shop around you can find it for $200. I have to say, this is the most solid dependable phone I have ever had with great battery life. I rarely use the extra functions but the pictures it takes are freak'n awsome for a cell phone. It is scary how good the technology has become. I, like many other, have become hooked on Nokia and I don't like any other phone. The best part of this phone is you can connect it to a PC and it shows up like a hard drive and you can easily sync data and numbers. It was originally recommended to me by a business colleage in the UK because he was so successfull it having it Bluetooth pair with so many in car phone systems. I purchased it on his recommendation and it still holds true -- while I have not tried every in car bluetooth system there is, where ever I have tried it has worked without flaw including many EU rental cars. That is the only reason I have it and use it. |

It seems like Razr has been working very well with E90 so that is what I would recommend

I used Sony T616 for about a year with E90 before I got SLVR.
Both phones work flawlessly with the car as far as the phone calls. BUT, motorola UI really sucks! I would never use the motorola again. I kinda temped by its design and iTunes, which I barely use because even the minimum volume is too loud. The Motorola UI is worse than the one of Samsung 7 years ago.

My Treo650 works fine, but you don't want that. Why not check out the Motorola Q, see how that works out. I think a couple of members on the board have it and said it pairs up fine.
