small mp3 problem
Hey everybody, I have a small problem. I tried burning an mp3 cd with songs organized within folders (artist) and subfolders (Album). When I tried playing it on my regular logic 7 stereo, non I-drive, it did not display any song info whatsoever. It just started playing songs with no artist and no title info. What did I do wrong? I am using Nero burning rom program and I just created a data CD with regular folders and songs. As a matter of fact, my mp3 CD’s are working properly when burned directly with no folders and display both, the title and artist. Nonetheless, I would love to order them into folders for the sake of convenience. Please help!

try pressing the button under title or "current" one of those.... its on the right side of the screen probably like the last button on the right. It should show you your folders

I use Roxio Easy CD Creator, in MP3 disc mode, and have no problems organizing songs into folders, and it shows the ID3 tags. ![]() |

I am burning via Nero and I don't have these issues neither. I have some other:
I see the full title of the ID3-tag. So that displays correclty. But that's only with the song it is currently playing. The other numbers are not shown fully. Only the first 8 caracters are shown. That is because of the ASCI format i guess. There is a guy on this forum who made a movie how to format your CD's via NERO in such a way that all titles are shown correctly. That's the way I am burning, but it won't help me. When I don't burn it ASCI but I take ISO 9660 then I see the full line, but the spaces are changed to underscores. I don't like that either. Anybody an idea? |
