DIY for rear spoiler with 3m tape ?

Does anyone have a ..DIY.. for the oem rear spoiler done with 3m tape....i'd like to see how far the tape goes from the edges also how much tape was applied..thanx, glen

I say it goes 1,000 miles and then flies off your car. Then it gets all scratched up and dented, and you have to have it repainted...


Why dont you just use the betalink and install it the right way the first time around???

at the norcal/socal meet, long installed the oem spoiler on somebody's car with 3m industrial strength double sided tape. seemed pretty sturdy to me. if i get a spoiler, i'll probably go this route.

that "somebody" is me . oem comes with the double side tape already, that's the one holding on top of the trunk. but if you think that's not strong enough, put another one at the side, so it can hold the rear end of the trunk. No problem with the body of the spoiler, but the two ends, it always pops up, no matter how hard I tried. so if you don't want to see the angle pop up, use betalink.
