Car Cover (After it rains)

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody has any tips on what to do with my OEM car cover after it rains. For example if it is raining before work and the cover is already wet, i have no choice but to put it inside my trunk until I get to my office garage. Is it a good idea to put the cover back on the wet car or let it sit on the trunk until the sun comes out. The manual claims that the cover can "breath" but is it a good for the paint to always be wet?

I'd be more worried about the marring and scratches you might get from putting on the car cover on a lightly dirty car. If you wash your vehicle weekly or frequently, it won't do anything to the paint.
