navi instructions lacking....

Does anyone else find it annoying when you are using the navi to guide you to a destination, and the navi will tell you that your destination is ahead, but it won't identify whether it's on the right or left side of the road?

I just recently took a road trip and many times, I had to pull a u-turn to re-look for my destination, since I wasn't sure which side of the road it was on...

Does anyone know if there's a way to allow the navi to do this?
