Which rear pads for stock calipers to match up with STaSIS/Alcon front BBK?

My STaSIS/Alcon front BBK is showing up next week, and I'm planning to order SS lines for the rear calipers too (but leaving the rear calipers and rotors stock for the time being.) What is the recommended rear pad to go with the ones supplied with the STaSIS kit?

Since I bought the kit slightly used (from Kev), it does not come with fluid. Normally STaSIS provides Motul RBF600 with the kit. I bought the car in 5/07 as a 3/07 build, so I'm right near the 2 year mark for fluid. BMW CCA rules for their HPDEs require fluid that is less than 1 year old. So I'll get a fluid replacement too. Is Motul RBF600 too much for a DD that will see 4 to 7 track events in 2009? Should I go with the Motul DOT 5.1 or a different fluid altogether?

Usage will be BMW CCA events this season, spirited mountain drives and daily driving. So cold pad performance and reduced noise will be considerations too.

Thanks guys!

I am currently using stock pads in the rears and Motul RBF600.
Last summer i was able to make it to about 7 events and the brakes held up pretty well (bite/fade wise) using stock pads and stock rear lines with Alcon 4pot Fronts...
I think stock pads + upgraded rear lines would be much better, not so sure about getting new pads for my rears...

I don't think RBF600 will be over-kill for your usage as long as you change the fluid yearly!

Hope to see you at Pacific Raceway this summer, I will make a few trips down from Vancouver B.C. with some GT3-RS and C4S
If you have time, come down to Mission B.C. for some track time!

I've got the ECS mid and rear lines coming this week too. So those will go on the car at the same time as the front kit.

Well, since the local BMW CCA rules stipulate that the fluid cannot be over 1 year old, I'll be doing annual changes anyway. But hey, if RBF600 is good, wouldn't RBF660 be even better?

Yep, want to hit the PR events this year. Do you have a link for Mission? Depending on the scheduling, I might be able to make it!
