Might be of interest to some of you fellow nokia users out there. Tonight after much tinkering i have got my nokia E51 to pair sucessfully with the car with full features, phone book transfer and call lists. Latest firmware for the phone seems to have resolved the issue of bluetooth connectivity where it would not transfer contacts.

My Nokia E71 paired up no problem and transfered accross the contacts/phonebook, however the bluetooth connection always drops after about 2-3 minutes on a call. It is very annoying.Does your phone hold a call okay?

Only updated the phone tonight o have not had achance to test it out over long calls. But before when i had just basic bluetooth connection it held on ok. Once or twice it dropped in 3 months and i would use it most days. Have you tried to update your phones firmware?
