Anybody using Trapster?

My father-in-law, a fellow driving enthusiast, just sent me this link

Supposedly if you see a speed trap, you fire up your GPS enabled phone and your location is recoreded for others to see. Has anyone tried it?

I've used it a couple of times on my iphone. The latest update is decent. I don't think it's better than a radar detector to be honest. It sound's better in theory than it is in practice but I guess it has the potential to improve assuming you report the speed traps that you encounter if they are not yet in the system. More often than not you will find that it beeps and there is not a cop around.

Sound's like a ripoff of the feature from Escort's 9500i.
