Cars been sitting for 6 months... what service should be done?

Long story short, my car has been sitting at the shop for about 6 months.

I should be getting my car back next week. I was wondering what fluids, service, etc I should get done. I've already asked to have the oil changed and I was thinking about getting the brake fluid changed. Also, I'm getting the rims and tires replaced so I'm not worried about flat spots in the tires.

Any other suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

What's the long story , was it damaged? I would have them do a total fluid flush if it hasn't been turned on for 6 months.

Was it on a Battery Tender? If not the battery should be checked.

Be sure lubricate door seals which may have dried out while inside the shop.

id really just do an oil change and make sure the battery is ready to roll. take it easy on the car for the first little while till all the fluids get moved around again..

I just drove mine for the first time in 3 months last week. I don't drive my car during the winter, so it's been sitting in the garage. Got some decent weather, so I pulled it out.

The first thing that I noticed was the incredible amount of tire pressure I lost. I loaded each tire with about 40lbs of pressure in October, in an effort to eliminate flat spots, but I should have been checking every few weeks. I went down to ~22lbs on the front, and ~24lbs on the rears. Fortunately after re-filling with air, I had no flat spots. since your car has 3 extra months in storage, you should check pressure before driving.

I'll leave the fluid suggestions to the experts.

Oh, btw, like suggested earlier I have a battery tender. mine is the one from BMW, and it works great.
