West Coast January / March Shipping Schedules (INC. NYK Lines)

For all us west coasters, I've finally tracked down the full shipping schedule for today through March!

HOEGH CHIBA (NYK-LINE) Sails: 2/3/09 Arrives: 2/27/09

MEDEA (WWL) Sails: 2/10/09 Arrives: 3/8/09

TRISTAN (WWL) Sails: 2/17/09 Arrives: 3/15/09

POSEIDON LEADER (NYK-LINE) Sails: 2/17/09 Arrives: 3/14/09

MADAME BUTTERFLY (WWL) Sails: 2/24/09 Arrives: 3/22/09

Since my CA said I should be on a boat today, I'm hoping to be on the Hoegh Chiba!

Thanks man looks like I will be on the MEDEA as mine is just rolling off production line today and still needs to get to port of exit.....

Hope you get on today...if not we will be boat buddies - ha!

ya, i'm just waiting for vesseltracker.com to update that she's left the port - hopefully tomorrow morning my status will change to "en route" and then i'll know for sure.

UPDATE:

changed the Hoegh Chiba schedule to reflect the new departure and arrival dates, I'm still holding out that my car will be on that boat

Mine is at the port awaiting a boat as well....
Hope mine gets on with yours tomorrow....

Fingers crossed, it's now 2am in Bremerhaven, I'm hoping that the Hoegh Chiba sails in the next 10 hours or so and that my car is on her!!

I called BMWNA this afternoon, and the rep was literally GOBSMACKED that my car had been sitting at the port for 10 days, he said they usually are on a boat within 3 days (this doesn't make me super happy, but oh well) He must have apologized about 30 times during our conversation.

I then called my CA, and was told the car was at the port, with no estimated ship date, but he figured it would be on a boat in a few days tops.

At this point I'm not so confident that it will get on the Hoegh Chiba, or the Medea which leaves on the 10th.

I seriously wonder why the shipping is taking sooooo long for everyone?

Nice, I'm jealous!

The wait depends on how far your dealer is from the VPC. My dealer is less than 2 hours away, so It should only be a day or two for me.
