General Exclaim UHP .VS. Kumho Ecsta SPT

So as the title says, which tire is better? I am in Florida so I don't have snow or any of that. I am on a tight budget after my rims are setting me back so much. Also, what tire size is a good low profile? Is 30-35 low profile enough? (Sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to tires)

(Edit): Can you replace the roundels on your rims while the rim is mounted on your car?

Here are the specs of the wheels, according to tire rack, this size is the best size tire for my rims:

GENERAL
* Front: 235/35ZR19
* Serv. Desc: 91W Load Index 91 = 1356lbs (615kg) per tire
Speed Rating “W” = 168mph (270kph)
* Load Range: XL
* UTQG: Treadwear: 380
Traction: A
Temperature: A380 A A

* Rear: 265/30ZR19
* Serv. Desc: 93W Load Index 93 = 1433lbs (650kg) per tire
Speed Rating “W” = 168mph (270kph)
* Load Range: XL
* UTQG: Treadwear: 380
Traction: A
Temperature: A380 A A

KUMHO
* Front: 235/35ZR19
* Serv. Desc: 91Y Load Index 91 = 1356lbs (615kg) per tire
Speed Rating “Y” = 186mph (300kph)
* UTQG: Treadwear: 320
Traction: AA
Temperature: A320 AA A

* Rear: 265/30ZR19
* Serv. Desc: 93Y Load Index 93 = 1433lbs (650kg) per tire
Speed Rating “Y” = 186mph (300kph)
* UTQG: Treadwear: 320
Traction: AA
Temperature: A320 AA A

I dont know how different the Ecsta SPT's are compared to the Ecsta Supra's, but the Supra's I had on my other car had alot of road noise. I would go with the generals

i have used the SPT Supras before on my other set of wheels and yes the noise is quite loud, but now i have the new Kumho SPT's on my 19s' and they are like night and day, very quiet and barely any road noise, i would even go as far as its quieter than my 17' OEM RFT's

it depends what you want in your tire selection, the General UPH is more leaning to all-season tires (comfort, long wear), where the Kumho SPT's are more summer/high performance orienated (performance, handling)

i'll vote for Kumho SPT

235/35/19 and 265/30/19 is the combo you should be going with. As far as UHP vs. SPT. They are both great tires we sell here all the time. If you dont do any aggressive driving at all the Generals will suffice. The SPT's handle a little bit more of a beating and offer a more stickier tread. Currently right now the SPT's are cheaper then the UHP's on tirerack.com for 235's.

I have personally owned both of these tires.

The Kumho ECSTA SPT has a bit better dry grip and faster steering response compared to the General Exclaim UHP. The General is smoother and quieter riding with longer wear.
