How to adjust wipers on e90?
Can anyone tell me how to adjust the level of wipers? On my car when they are in standstill position they are little above that black line of my windshield, so I would like to lower them down a little bit.
The right one is standing in position of this red line. Last edited by Hrcko; 12-17-2008 at 01:57 PM.. |

un-tighten the wiper bolt under the hood, then pull the wiper away from the windshield, then you can adjust it the way you want. Repeat for the other wiper.

You posted this a while ago but just in case you still need help:
Open the hood. Remove the plastic nut covers on the wiper arm(s). They just pull-off (by hand) with a little force - they won't break and you won't need a plier. Use a 5/8" or a 15 or 16mm spanner (wrench) to undo the nuts. Adjust the wiper blades a few mm below the black line on the windshield. Try the wipers and if you're not satisfied, try adjusting the position again. Don't forget to tighten the nuts (don't over tighten) and replace the plastic covers. |
