YES YOU CAN paint your stock rims

ok so i decided to give paul miller bmw a call today thats in nj btw
and i asked them what will happen to my warranty and my wheel and tire
insurance if i painted my stock 162's black .So he put me on hold for about a minute..........!!!!YES!!!! you can paint your factory rims a different color as long as you do not tamper with the wheel itself (lug nuts and what not iguess) but that is pretty cool

p.s. itll probaly cost more to paint them then to get hot rims like csl reps or something but whatever

just giving you some good news

LOL....why would you think it would affect your warranty in the first place????
the only issue of painting your rims....if you are concerned about the dealership is that you may run into problems if its a lease vehicle

Some dealerships even offer powdercoating the stock wheels for an additional cost.
