question about the procede bypass plugs/harness

when installing the bypass plugs/harness, do the black jumper wires have to remain connected to the harness?

the black wire goes out of one hole of an individual harness and back into another hole into the same harness.

i'm having problems disabling the procede.

Yes, the black jumper wires are source of the physical bypass. Don't remove/cut them them
