SoCal members!! Wheel repairs?

Hi SoCal members, I was wondering if you guys/gals have any recommendations for wheel repair shops? The repairs required are for cracks along the rim. I'm not sure how many there are or how severe but my buddy told me he needed to get some repairs done to his wheel. Any help would be great. Thanks all.

I thought Son Tran only does curb rash...

Anyway hit up Mike, his number is 818-500-8903. He repaired my wheel in one day, does a great job and guarantees his work. He's in Glendale though, I don't know where you are.

TruWheel up in Van Nuys just off the 170. Great shop, great work... they just have a cheezy horrible website ( www.truwheel.com ). I took in a SSR GT3 rim from my B7 S4 with such a huge bend that I though it was trash, but to my amazement it looked brand new when I got it back.

He's a great wheel repair guy but I believe he only does curb rashes and such. If you need to fix a bend or a crack hit up anyone of the guys listed in this thread I guess lol.

+1 for son tran...he's super busy, but will work with you to meet up....prices is great also...

anyone know of a good rash repair service in the SFV? Son tran is great, but a PITA to meet up with if you are not in west la or south bay/torrance area (he works primarily around those areas AFAIK/IIRC....

I just took my rim to Tru Wheel because the inner lip was bent from hitting a huge pothole on the 10 freeway at 90 mph (dark, during a downward turn in the carpool lane - it was either the pothole or swerving to miss it and hitting the wall). It was bent to where the tire wouldn't hold any air, so I had to drive home on the RFTs.

I dropped my wheel off on Wed afternoon, and they called this morning (Friday) saying it was ready. The best part, it only cost $110 to fix it, and it's as good as new. I didn't need to refinish the surface face, only repair the bent inner lip. Fast service, cheap, and the finished product came out looking great. They know what they're doing. I'll post pics up later today when I get home.
