Another iDrive question

I would like to know if there is any difference from the e90 iDrive to the X5 iDrive versions.

If I am not mistaken, the X5 uses the CCC computer, not the CIC computer. So, it is not the news generation of Idrive.

The CIC computer is in the 1, 3, and 7 series. I think the rest of the BMW line uses the earlier versions.
