LTW5's installed on E92 335i
Hi all,
I wanted to share some pix and experience on getting the DForce LTW5's with Toyo R888's on my 335 for track only use. I went with the 18x9's on the front with 255/30's and 18x10's on the back with 265/35's although I had originally tried 275/40's on the back. The fit was just a bit too tight even with stock sport suspension and I knew if I added coil-overs in the future or did anything that lowered ride height, I'd be screwed - so i swapped those for the smaller 265's. One caveat - you must add spacers to the front, minimum of 2mm - I went with 3mm. I didn't find this anywhere when researching these wheels, only figured that out during initial install. Without the spacers the front wheels will rub on the strut, with the 3mm spacers - no issues. Together with the UUC SwayBarbarians front & rear, the car handles extremely well. Steering is tight, tracks well and no more body roll or screaming from the RFT's. I'll be sorry to pull them off for street driving but I'll be on the track for a two day event in two weeks. I can also post before and after in car videos from the track if anyone's interested. -steve |

May I know what are the offset of your wheels?
And for front without the spacer it will rub, may I know it is the tires or the rim? If is the tires, do you think 245/35/18 will clear without spacer? |

Hey steve your car looks very nice. I carry the LTW5 wheels and are very nice wheels for track and street also. If you don't mind asking how much did you pick them up for?
