Nanos work fine. Update to the latest software version (1.2) is recommended - should work with v1.1 or higher.

Its also my understanding that any new tracks you purchase with iTunes 7 don't work with the iPod kit. anyone confirm this?

For ease of use, I have been purchasing most of my music new. I did have a bunch of old mp3's when downloading was in its hayday... Now its so difficult to get QUALITY music on the P2P servers.

Itunes it is for me...
