What was the dealer thinking.......
I was scanning BMW used cars and came across this.....
http://bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/auc/car_detai...VG92010VJ15144 (rear view) Surely, BMW UK and the dealership wouldn't photograph a car with a dent like that in the rear and then put it on the web. Not likley to help sell the car! Doh!!!!!!!

Just checked out the inside pictures of that car, nice to see that the DO NOT SMOKE sticker blends in so well with the interior.
Wonder why BMW don't incorporate that feature into all their cars? |

At least he is an honest dealer, showing that the car is trying to sell, has a damaged bumper. A potential buyer will demand a change of the rear bumper in order to reach a deal.
What would you prefer, if you were after that car... Buy the car after you saw that pic, and have a replacement, or was it better if the dealer removed the bumper, had it repaired for peanuts and put it back, and then take some nice pics and post them to his website.. Trust me you will never know, that the car was rear ended.. At least not for the next 2 years.. UK Dealers have a bad reputation over here, that are hiding damages of the cars that are trying to sell.. Best dealers are the Japs, since we do import used cars form Japan as well, as they are right handed also. |
