Help with Procede Map Switching

Help. I just installed the map switching device on my Procede V3 by plugging it into the 3-prong connector, which I assume is all you need to do. Is that right? I opened up my Procede Reader and the Procede is online, but the heading called "Map Switching Options" is dimmed out and won't open. I assume this is where I would set the default to valet. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something else I am supposed to do? Thanks.

Are you using the latest software????

http://www.vishnutuningforum.com/for...read.php?t=990

In the current Procede Reader software there is no "Map Switching Options" heading.

You need to go into 'User Maps' and then access the 'User Adjustable Parameters'.

In there you can turn Valet Mode on or off. With the Valet set to on, your car defaults to Valet at engine start up and then to access the maps you will need to first press the 'On' button on your remote to take it out of Valet. Switching maps between Map 1 and 2 is achieved via the remote button by toggling the 'On' and 'Off' button.

With the Valet setting turned to Off the car will start up in the 'Map Mode', which you can choose to be either Map 1 or 2 by setting it up in the 'User Adjustable Parameters' screen. Again, switching maps between Map 1 and 2 is achieved via the remote button by toggling the 'On' and 'Off' button.

I just talked with Murph, his confusion came into play with the software version. He was still using the 2.0 software, which did not yet have the User Adjustable Perimeters. But, you guys were spot on with your instructions for the 3.1 reader.
