Going +1 on tyres

I've decided to to dump the run flats - I hate the ride comfort currently.

Have decided to go +1 in tyre size (265/30/19 on the rear and 225/35/19 front) and buy Goodyear Assymetrics (a decent balance of quality and price).

What I'd like to know is whether these type of tyres will sit flush with the rim or is there a gap between tyre and rim?

I have Star Spoke Style 230 8/9Jx19.

Cheers.

The +1 size on the front is 235 not 225 and they should look fine on the best wheel about - the 230 (wot? me! Biased!)

As has been said elsewhere, going a tyre width up on the E9x doesn't cause any problems (in fact, Alpina fit the +1 size on their 19" wheels as standard.)

I do have a spare 245/18 runflats and i was wondering if i can fit them on my standard 18" wheels, and by keeping the rears as standard 255/18 until the rears will worn, they got left about 10k miles on them i believe, and then i will follow the non runflat way..

I'm running 235/35 and 275/30's on mine without any problmes (I am runnong after market rims though that are 8.5" and 9.5" wide fraont and rear)

Not sure what you mean about the gap though...
