$100 to rent your spare wheels/tires for 7 days
need wheels to roll around on during shipment of my new wheels. looking for someone in SoCal to borrow wheels from for a week. willing to put up collateral and i will come pick up. It doesnt matter what type or size they are, just as long as they fit on a e90! Last edited by GoTrojans; 09-23-2006 at 09:51 PM.. |

Good that someone has wheels available
but the base-level stock 325i wheels won´t fit on a 330i obviously. Keep that in mind.

Is it just me, or wouldn't it make a lot more sense to just rent a car for a week ? I mean if you are truly without any wheels or tires then I assume your car is on jack stands and you are talking about somehow getting tires and wheels from the renter to you then back again. So in addition to the time expense, there is the risk of damaging the rented wheels, the risk of not getting your collateral back, and a bunch of other hassels that far out weigh the cost of a rental car for a week minus the 100 you are offering for the wheels and tires.
Maybe it's just me, but this sounds like one of the most hair-brained ideas I have ever heard, all to save 150.00 dollars. |

So in that case I say just make the buyer of your wheels and tires wait until yours come in then do all the switcheroos in one session. If he doesn't want to wait an extra week tell him you will drop the price an extra $100.00 to compensate for his trouble, problem solved, No? |
