Replacing shadowline

Hey guys,

Soon to pick up an '09 SG/black 335xi from Germany, hopefully friday/monday. I'm going to give the shadowline a tryout but really prefer the chrome trim. Have any of you guys done this or have any recs on a place trustworthy enough to do this to my new baby?

Thanks for the quick reply. Did you get the part through them. How much did this set you back?

I got my parts from www.getbmwparts.com. You can PM Evan @ Tischer or Jason @ Tischer to get a quote for the trim.

Swapping trim

Anyone in the area consider swapping trims? Does it come off in good enough shape for this?

No, the Shadowline and the brushed aluminum trim can crease very easily so they can come out destroyed even with an experienced tech, especially the piece that goes on top the windows.

Interesting, Evan at Tischer told me to swap with someone. Did yours go on ok at Bavarian Performance Group?
