weight of type 156 wheel?

Anybody know the weight of the 16" type 156 wheel? I'm looking at new wheels and would like to have some basis for weight comparison.

I would like to know the answer to this question, too.

i weighed one of my 16" rims and tires and the weight was 51.5lb. the strange thing is that i recently upgraded to 19" rims and i feel a slight drop in performance even though my rear rims+tire each weigh 0.7 lb less than 5.7 lb less for each of the front rims+tires. i think its because the majority of the mass is at a larger distance away from the center. i remember something like this in my physics class. it also could be that my new rims are 9.5" as opposed to the stock 7". any one have any ideas?

I think you're basically there. The larger wheels would logically have a greater moment of inertia, and the wider tires would increase the rolling resistance. Any engineers out there want to run a calculation and quantify it for him?

More rolling resistance and distribution of the weight towards the outside of the circumference.

According to Bridgestone's webiste, the RFT EL42 is 27lbs, so 51.5-27=24.5 lbs for the 156.
