e92 335i order - how long until arrival?
What's up all?
I am a new member but I have been reading the posts on here for several weeks now. I ordered an e92 335i 3 weeks ago and production was completed on Friday. The car is waiting at the port to be loaded onto a ship. Reading about the orders on this forum is making the wait even worse!! But at the same time it makes it all the more exciting as the day of arrival gets closer. My specs: Space Gray, Black leather w Brushed Aluminum, 6MT, Premium, Sport, Navi, Heated Front seats and Sirius. Can anyone that has been at this particular point of the production process that I am currently in (awaiting transport) tell me about how many more weeks until the car may arrive at my dealer? Thanks. I look forward to being a part of the forum. |

It's usually safe to say the whole process, from production to delivery, takes about a month.

The ship takes 14 days to make the crossing and the east coast kids usually get theirs about a week after it docks,ED cars, about 2 weeks after, midwest and southern states about the same as east coast and west coast add about 2 weeks......practice patience !

IrvRobinson,
My vehicle docked on Sunday 9/24 and was unloaded Monday morning in NJ Harbor. Do you think it'll take 1 wk as well to travel 260 miles to N. VA? |

To answer the original post, 14-19 days to cross once your car is on a ship (some skip Halifax, hence the difference in days). Then figure at least one week, maybe two to get the car to the dealer and ready for you to pickup. So you are 4-5 weeks away. It's possible this could be a little less if EVERYTHING went your way. Congrats on the car and good luck. Check out the post on Patriot Games from begining to end. That will give you a very good idea of what you have in store. It's agonizing but that's part of the fun. |

Thanks HeadlessChicken... I know the wait will be painful but the reward will be well worth it. I see that you are on the patriot so your car is near! Good luck with your car as well. Post some pics when you get it!!
