Do all aftermarket fog light bulbs suck ass???
I love the way they look but everytime I put in different fog light bulbs in my e90 one of them blows out less than 2 months after putting them in. Its really aggravating. I got gp thunder 8500 plasma white and they look perfect. I bought these from e92 lighting less than 2 freakin months ago. Do they offer warrantees on these? I always install them with vinyl gloves so I dont touch the bulb with my hands and this still happens. anyone else have the same issues???

My GP thunders in my angels have lasted for 9 months and are still good. I had them in my fogs for like 8 months then switched to HIDs. I never had problems with them burning out.

I've heard it's hit or miss with the GP's. For example, I've had mine since I got my car in May with no issues, and a guy local with an E92 is on his 3rd or 4th set I think.

i have some yellow gp thunders in my fogs and they're still going strong. then again i only turn on my fogs when its foggy or rainy outside.
the no name bulbs (including gp thunder) are usually made in korea. korean made bulbs are usually hit or miss. actually more towards miss. but gp thunders seem to be decent, especially considering the price. the better quality bulbs are usually made in japan. look for names like raybrig, polarg, and piaa (though piaa is just ok imho). you will pay a premium however. one name to look out for is mtec imho. the company markets them as japanese bulbs, but the actual country of origin is usually unknown. from research, the company is actually located in taiwan.

Yea most bulbs other then just regular "yellow" bulbs seem to burn out way faster... sux that it happens... even if there is a warranty u probably gotta send the bulb to them to get replaced which will cost more then jsut buying a new one...
