M3 with BBS rs-gt!!

Okay... today was friday and I was on my way home from school.
I took the manhattan bridge from Brooklyn and there was just so much traffic all the cars were going slooooow. All of a sudden in the middle of the bridge(there is something like a construction site in the middle of Manhattan Bridge)among many parked cars there was a black M3! I noticed it by its mufflers... But the most shocking thing was that it had a BBS rs-gt on it. probably 18"s. OMG it was a beauty... black M3 w/ BBS rs-gt! It was good enough to keep me awake until I went through all those harsh traffic through Canal street on fridays...
now I want the BBS-rs-gt more than anything~

haha its funny you say that because im picking up a set in a couple of hours. getting tires installed tomorrow.

If you don't mind me asking. Where did you get them from? How much for rims + tires(brand?)? Used or new rims?

I really want to get them but I wanna find some real world pricing from some people. A price on a website isn't the same as hearing if from someone because there are always other costs.

Oh, and do you have a drop/coilovers, or is that just the stock ZSP suspension?

What setting are you using on your KW V1, is that the lowest ride height? How's the ride quality on them?

nah these arent even set at the lowest. steve at trendixinc.com installed these for me and set the height at the middle. on the front, he initially set it even lower and i told him to raise it a little bit.

regarding the ride quality, i think they're pretty good. its a little stiffer than the non-sport suspension that i previously had but the ride quality is not unbearable. since i didnt have sport suspension, i cant make any comparisons. since you're located in socal, i can take you out for a ride in my car so you can see how it rides if you're interested.

By the way, forgot to ask, do you have 19X9.5 25offset in the back or 19x10 25 in the back, any rubbing problem?

i live in huntington beach but work in torrance. its 19x9.5 +25mm offset in the back and i still kind of rub on big dips/bumps. from your recommendation i got the same tires as you, kumho spt. the thing i dont like about it is that it has the rim protector and it kinda bulges out a little bit causing the rubbing.

Did you roll your fenders yet? I did mine and haven't rub since just curious if the lower setting will still rubb even with fender rolled? (probably not)

i didnt roll my fenders yet. where did you roll your fenders at and how much? as for the lowest setting, im really not sure... i kinda want the back to go a little lower but not by much.
