Replacement exec 18 wheels for a 330i
Evenin all, be grateful on some advice on the following...
I have decided that the wheels on my car look dung. They are 17 inch and i want to upgrade to 18 inch ellipsoid alloys if poss. Only trouble is, i cant find em anywhere and dont really want to pay the premium, as i reckon a set of 18s is likely to be over a grand sterling from a stealer. The car is a 330i se 55 plate with 30 on the clock. Its a decent spec car so want to do it some justice and have a few quid to spend. (Wheels and new black line backlights im thinking). So does anyone have any recommendations on wheels? I have done some web searches and all i seem to be able to find are blingesque chrome rims or m type wheels. Im looking for summat a bit more conservative/executive, which will do the car more justice whilst not making me look like a crack dealer. The ellipsoids fit the bill very well, but seem very rare second hand, even on fleabay. I am not too fussed about getting official bmw wheels as i will be keeping the car for a good few years, although want to retain the badges on the wheels etc. I was going to change to runflats, but have delayed that decision until i get the new wheels so a wheel+tyre purchase is prob my best option for value. I would like to get new/sec hand wheels, and non rf 452s for <£1000. In summary.. 1) How much do a set of 18s ellipsoids from the stealer cost? 2) Is there anywhere that does good quality ellipsoid replicas or similar, and are the bmw badges easily affixed? 3) I assume 17's to 18's is just a matter of a wheel change? Could i go 19s? 4) Are there any trade ins to be had? I assume no one will want those horrid wheels lol 5) Any second hand/re furb places i should look at? All pearlies of wisdom are gratefully received. ![]() |

i got a link from the US forum...looks like you'll need to google it for the prices....Only concern for me is that its not a UK company and I'm not into all that import/ebay/postage thing...Would rather go to a shop or at least a UK based company...
But looks like none of the guys had problems with fitment.... try a search on the US forum...loads of pics there and they have a contact for the "authorised" dealer.... |

18inch would look great on ur car....and plus you don't have to worry about suspension/tyres rubbing/ car not low enough etc etc....
