As long as you match up the wattage you should be fine. I havent seen anyone melt their main housings before. Usually that sort of thing seems to happen with bulb swap outs on the interior lights..

Those are 55w so they match the stock wattage, I don't foresee an issue.

hey there again guys i came to the conclusion that im gona go with the krypton series ones that are 30% bigger and brighter. The only concern i have aginn is that im scared that my wires are gona melt on the lumanics website they said that i should use the extra wire harasses that are 20 bucks, its confusing to me becouse they are 12v 55w like the stock bulbs so can anyone clerify this for me so i can have paice of mind or somone that has thease bulbs thanks to everyone.

I heard all these different brand names
luminics, Phipips, PIAA etc ....
I can't afford the xenon and will stick with H7 bulb for now.
what is the best H7 bulb to use? and where to buy

the krypton series are BIGGER than regular halogen bulbs but are made to work in stock 55w housing w/o problem. I have a set for sale in my sig if you're interested.

you can trim it, but you're gonna need a heavy duty scissor.
